Plot:

Okay so 57 years after Ripley (from Alien) survived her dreadful ordeal, her escape pod is recovered after drifting across the galaxy as she slept in cryogenic stasis. When she get back to earth, nobody believed her story about the “Aliens” on the planet LV-426. Subsequently the “Company” orders the colony on LV-426 to investigate, nevertheless, all communication with the colony is lost. The Company recruits Ripley to aid a team of hard-hitting, rugged space marines for a rescue mission to the now partially terra-formed planet. Their job is to find out if there are aliens and if there are any survivors. As the mission unfolds, Ripley will be forced to come to grips with her worst nightmare, but even as she does, she finds that the worst is yet to come.

Why I choose this movie?

Watched as I had just watched the first one and had to carry on, this is a must see sci-fi movie. Ripley is a strong female character and Aliens are just soo adorable.

Tidbit

During the inquest, Van Leuwen refers to Ripley’s company ID number as NOC14472 while the data screen in the background displays NOC14672.

In the opening scene of Ripley (frozen), it shows her head tilted to her left, then the close-up shows her faced forward.
